Read about our Head Chef,
Chef Jeanette’s journey in the culinary world began at the tender and impressionable age of three when she worked with her grandparents (Giragos & Loutfia Tachdjian) in the kitchen of their restaurant in Beirut Lebanon. Jeanette’s earliest childhood memories are that of working alongside her maternal grandfather Giragos, chopping parsley stems with a butter knife while he was preparing dinner for guests.
Before starting his restaurant in the heart of Beirut, Giragos was a French-trained chef, serving as Executive Chef in the French Navy. The restaurant was a well-known landmark and gathering place for guests for 25 years, before the family immigrated to Canada.
Once her passion for the culinary arts was ignited, Chef Jeanette found every opportunity to develop her skills with her grandparents and her mother Victoria. Chef Jeanette is a graduate of Liaison College of the culinary arts and is a celebrated and sought after culinary master in Lebanese cuisine. Through the past 20 years she has hosted and coordinated numerous events including milestone birthdays, corporate events, film shoots and parties. She is passionate about quality above all and is a fervent advocate for her patrons, always working to ensure they are throughly satisfied.
